The Murphys had some much needed family fun this past weekend. We started by going to the horseraces at Lone Star Park. It was Dollar Day…dollar entrance, hotdogs, beers, popcorn, etc. What a deal.

Hanging out in the Paddock watching the horses be paraded by….I did not leave this paradise. It was a gorgeous day, dollars beers and horses to entertain Bree…heaven!
Bree loves the idea of icecream way more than actually eating it…Sean and I eat a lot of icecream cones with Bree around. The icecream was NOT a dollar!
On Sunday we headed to the cousins’ house (Bree loves to say “cousins”) for Andrew’s 3rd birthday party. My sister made the most amazing cake….it was Diego themed and had the most incredible waterfall coming down three layers of cake. Unreal and tasted so good!

On Monday, we continued the fun and toured our friend Jason’s fire station in Arlington. Bree loves fire trucks and we thought this would be a good adventure for the family. She was pretty out of control and overtired throughout the whole thing, but Sean and I learned a lot. Fire trucks are just amazing and fire fighters are just the jack of all trades and super strong. Thanks Jason for showing us the wonders of the Quint.
We finished the night with a trip to Jason’s Deli where Bauer fell in love with icecream cones. He actually bit the cone…he does not mess around! And don’t you just love his muscle t-shirt….too cute!

Bathtime after an exciting set of adventures! We’ve started bathing both kiddos together…so much more efficient, but it still takes both Sean and I to make it through most of the time!
