We’ve had record amounts of rain these past few weeks…and the kids have put their rain boots to work stomping in any and all puddles they can find.

We’ve been a little stir crazy hanging out inside so much with the rain, so I’ve been trying to find some new and different adventures around the metroplex that are indoors. We tried out a place called Boomerangs in Hurst last week. The kids had a blast on all the inflatables.
Luckily for us, this past weekend marked the first home football game for TCU and some sunshine was on the docket. Bauer geared up earlier in the week with his “I don’t nap when Memphis is playing” onesie. He cheers for the horned frogs and the tigers equally!
We donned our favorite TCU gear, packed up the double stoller and headed to our favorite parking spot for some much overdue tailgating.
Bauer had on is superfrog shirt and his tiger shorts….he also got a free football!
Bree and Mommy were all purple!
Bree got to meet some TCU cheerleaders and was very excited to hold the sparkly pom-poms.

Don’t we clean up nicely…we didn’t make it to any of the homegame due to Jenny and Adam’s wedding starting at the same exact time across campus at Robert Carr Chapel. But who can beat an afternoon of tailgating and a spectacular wedding that night with your best friends!

As I’m wrapping up this blog, I hear the rain hitting the windows outside again….I guess as long as it clears up for this weekend, I’ll just take it in stride and think of some fun new indoor adventures for me and the kids tomorrow!
