You know the weekend has potential to be great when your plans start with a birthday party at Chuckie Cheese (now known as the CEC) and end with a Cowboys Game. It definitely did not disappoint.
We had a great time celebrating our friend Cameron’s 5th Birthday on Saturday. We’d never been to the Cheese for an actual birthday party and Bree was pleasantly surprised when this trip involved meeting Chuckie Cheese and having cake. WIN, WIN, WIN! I see us having a birthday party at the Cheese at some point in our future!
Bauer and Bree actually hanging out on a ride together! Bauer’s hair looks so orange in this pic.

The bluescreen that allowed Bree to dance in space.
Chuckie Cheese hanging with the kiddos!
The family fun continued Sunday morning when we took our weekly walk with the dogs. I know “weekly” sounds horrible, but it’s a start and the dogs love it all the same. Bree is getting to be such a great dog walker!
The crown prince in his carriage/wagon!
Every good walk should end up at the park.
Oh the fat and happy life of a dog who goes on one walk a week!
Rocks and plastic cups = tons of entertainment for my kids
Bree likes to “bump” everyone off the end of the slide.
Just the most precious face…such a sweet boy when he’s doing what he wants…not so sweet the rest of the time!
After an amazing morning, Sean and I set out for our first Cowboy game ever in person together. Our friend Christie sold us her tickets and offered to babysit when her boyfriend had to head out of town on business. Thank you so much Christie for allowing us to have such a fun and memorable date!
Section J – we had no idea where our seats were…
Our first look inside the stadium…Sean was in awe that they posted fantasy stats regularly throughout the game.
Yep..that’s the top of the stadium…our seats were about two rows down.
Me smiling but gripping on to the seats for dear life…I almost hyperventalated going up the stairs to our seats…so high up! I never used to be afraid of heights, but there was a moment I didn’t think I was going to make it.
Halftime – survivors of breast cancer were invited on the field and made this inspiring display. WOW.
My best bud Kori…who was also at the game and was really the spearhead of getting tickets. Her friend Glenn is a coach for the Falcons…so we were in a Falcon block. All of Turner’s family (one of the Falcons) was right behind us.
My fear of being up so high went away pretty quickly and I was able to enjoy the fact that even though we were two rows from the top, there really isn’t a bad seat in Jerryworld.
Such a fun date with my hubby! And Christie did great with the kiddos! Thanks again girl…you are the best and Sean and I needed that break big time!
Not to mention me working 19 hours for the BRIT and the auction on Friday and playing hockey tonight. We won 8-1. Thanks for the awesome post!
