So Bree and I were at Babies R Us today getting a few more things for Bauer’s room…I am really excited to see it all come together by the way! Well, the picture lady from Kiddie Kandids asked if we would like a complementary picture taken of Bree. A free 8X10…sign me up!!!
So I changed her diaper which I realized was leaking at this point, tried to get her hair to all lay down in some general direction and ignored the fact that her legs are as scraped and bug bitten as can be.
I was just watching her smile for these pictures and my heart just melted…she’s such a big girl. Gone are the days of trying to prop her up on pillows and hope she kept her eyes open or just didn’t scream during a photoshoot. Gone are the days of timing our picture appointment perfectly between bottles. She now can really understand “look at the camera” (not that she always does). She now can pick which furniture she wants to stand or sit on. She now thinks its so funny when the picture lady tickles her and smiles come so much easier! She’s my little toddler! I was just so proud!
I think its a little bit easier not to be super sad about her growing up b/c I have another baby chillin’ in the oven waiting to have his picture taken every month for the first year. Right now it feels more like an accomplishment…we made it to a new point in our relationship and still absolutely love each other!!! We see fragments of the terrible two’s coming rapidly, but for now we are just going to enjoy our “SO BIG” toddler!
These were the pics that they took today. They have to be tiny b/c I just copied them off the email that they sent me. It’s probably better b/c then you can’t see the spot on her shirt from her leaky diaper! Oh the sense of humor it takes to be a mom!!!
  
  
  
  
I LOVE YOUR BLOGS!!! I love that every time I visit the blog there are new entries and pictures. Keep it up, I know it will slow down after Bauer gets here. We miss you guys a ton. I hate that we are missing out on so many things with Bree and now Bauer. Hope to see you soon!
