Here we are at 2 weeks of age for our fabulous Mr. Bennett. He is amazingly alert these days and even “played” on his jungle mat today for about 25 minutes. Okay so he mostly stared at himself in the big mirror, but I think that’s how 2 week olds play. Don’t judge…personally I’m jealous that this can be considered his “active” time. We went on our first walk today as well. He loves any motion…swing, stroller, car, bouncer…as long its moving. Hope that continues!
We are dealing with a painful case of diaper rash currently…he seems too young to have to deal with these issues…or maybe for me to have to deal with these issues. Poo is not our friend these days.
I tell him he will survive…and then I repeat the mantra to myself…
We make a good team.
A random lady at Central Market told me yesterday that most people think their own baby is the cutest, but she was convinced my baby was the cutest. I have to agree with her. I kinda wish we could be friends…

The transition continues…but overall I think the older B’s have accepted the existence of Bennett and I hope as he shows them all the tricks he has up his sleeve, they will think mommy and daddy are brilliant and this whole 3rd kid thing was a really good idea.
