So its done…Bauer doesn’t have to sleep on a queen sized bed decorated with a brown and pink quilt. He gets the coziest room on the block. I asked Sean as we were decorating if he thought Bauer’s room was cooler than Bree’s and he said no, it just seems that way because its new. I think he was secretly thinking yes. Who wouldn’t think jungle animals are the coolest??? Bree and I are going to spend lots of time in Bauer’s room during the next few weeks so she can get used to it as well. Plus she loves naming her animals right now. She can make a roar of a lion, the neigh of a horse and the whooooo of an owl. Its hilarious. Bauer’s room really just acts as one big story book for her! Win win for everyone I say!Â
I’m super excited with how it turned out and its becoming more real by the day that a little baby boy (well we are 99% sure) will be sleeping in that room very soon! We only have 5 weeks left of being a one child family! Now that is very scary since we feel like it takes two of us to barely survive somedays! But I keep reminding myself…we know the drill, we know we will survive without sleep and it really is so much fun after the first 8 weeks
So here is Mr. Bauer’s Abode:
Bree got new furniture so we combined our guest room furniture and her crib/changing table and the room looks like it was meant to be!
I got this picture when I was right out of college, I always knew it would go in one of my kid’s rooms. It just makes my heart melt.Â
Bree is already rearranging Bauer’s toys! This is going to be very fun!
That is the corner that our rocking chair coming from Costa Rica will go! Gram and Granddad are ordering it on their trip this week.
We created one long valance to accent these three windows…hard wall to decorate!
More jungle animals…and a dresser filled with Sean’s clothes. The transition back to the master hasn’t happened yet!
Changing table with Bauer’s monthly picture frame! With a monkey and elephant to accent of course!
Super cute room!!! I can’t wait for Mr. Bauer to be here!
