Robot Bauer

Halloween this year will be spent at Disney World but that didn’t stop us from attending a really fun Halloween party tonight with my Mom 2 Mom Group.

Bauer decided a couple weeks ago he wanted to be a robot for Halloween.  Last night about 9:30pm I remembered we (mainly me) had agreed to make this robot come to life for the Halloween party.  Insert in some crafty work with a couple cardboard boxes by Sean and some extensive foil wrapping by yours truly and voila, Robot Bauer.

He loved his costume and wore it with pride tonight.  He had trouble eating with it on and after the trick or treating portion of the party he fell down and truthfully could not get back up giving a few surrounding moms a good laugh.   But overall, the costume was so fun for him to wear.

He had a great voice he used everytime the costume was on.  I got a video of him swinging his arms and saying “I. Am. Robot. Bauer.”  over and over.  Good times.

We tried to introduce Bennett to the joy of the Thomas the Train costume Bauer wore (barely) when he was two, but it was met with no love.  That poor costume wasn’t loved by either of our boys.  You can see Bennett in the last picture in his shorts and t-shirt amongst all the costumes :)   Oh those opinionated two year olds.

It was a great party with some great new mom friends in Plano.  Happy Halloween (a week early).

Robot Bauer!

Most of the kids spent the party on the stage…why do kids love stages so much??!!

The whole crew at the end of the party!
Love how Bauer’s costume reflects the flash.  Bennett is in the middle :)
