One of the many great perks from switching preschools back in February was the chance to sign up Bauer up for karate once a week. He was adamant about getting to do this activity and he has not looked back since. He has progressed from a white belt to orange to tiger and now to ARMY! These may not seem like the normal color belts and you would be correct. They are for “TOT” wando as opposed to Taekwando and as he gets older he can move into the regular belt sequence.
This summer he has been going 2-3 times a week to his karate class!
Sean and I have been so impressed with the increased discipline and just how much he enjoys the process of learning self defense and different sequences of moves.
The whole family was able to watch him do his belt test a couple weeks ago where he earned his army belt. What an amazing transformation this kid has seen these last few months (minus the whole potty accident thing, but really what is a little poop between friends).
