It’s 10:40AM, three hours after Dr. Atkins broke Julie’s water and almost four since the induction process started. The nurse and Julie proceed to have the following conversation, in a fashion only describable as Juliesque:
Nurse, after checking on Julie at 10:40: “I think it’s time to start pushing, he’s ready to go right now.”
Julie: “Can we wait 5 minutes? Tori Spelling is on The View today and they’re about to interview her. It shouldn’t take much longer than that.”
Nurse, about ten minutes later: “Is Tori finished?”
Julie: “Yes, we can have a baby now.”
Twenty one minutes later Bauer was born.
