The title of this blog was how Sean addressed the card that he gave me with roses for our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday… inside he listed all the reasons he is thankful for me…all starting with Four (instead of for)… he is just so creative… one of the million reasons I love him.
Four years ago it was a white dress, a tux, wedding cake, champagne and about 300 of our closest friends and family…
Last night it was a pjs, a frozen snickers bar, champagne and two kiddos under the age of two joining us for the celebration. One was asleep for most of it…but one happily took turns in both of our arms!
We watched our wedding video last night and relived some of the most trying and amazing times of our wedding day. Overall it was just perfect, the way only Sean and I do perfect.
We even caught something Sean said during the toasts about having kids in 5 years…we may have sped up that forecast just a little bit!
We loved seeing all the friends and family that made that day so special and it amazed us how many people have come into and out of our lives in a short four years. We again feel so blessed to be so surrounded by love in every phase of our lives.
Our lives have changed just a little bit in 4 years, but both Sean and I agreed we wouldn’t want it any other way and we’d make the decision to spend our lives with each other again in a heartbeat. So last night we laid on the couch, watched some preseason football, ate a lasagna dinner graciously cooked by my friend Clarissa, and were in bed by 10…and by Sean and I’s standard that is as close to perfect as it gets!!!
