It’s OCTOBER!!!
We can officially start counting down until Halloween.
I’m eating candy corn as I write this entry and not feeling a bit of guilt. The 14 bags I inhaled throughout September had some glimmer of guilt, but now we are in the actual month of Halloween…keep the amazingness of candy corn coming!
To kick off this memorable month, we headed out to the Country Critters Farm this morning for lots of Halloween fun. The swagger wagon was packed with a fellow mom and her two munchkins as well as mine. It was a bit surreal to look in the rear view mirror and see 4 kids. But it made me smile to look in the passenger seat and know that my good friend, Mary Kathryn, would be my partner in crime for the morning.
We met a bunch of our MOMS group out in Alvarado (outside of Mansfield) to check out this Halloween wonderland. There were so many smiles from our kiddos and only a few miscellaneous meltdowns. All and all, beautiful weather and fabulous company made this one of the best MOMS club outings I’ve ever been on.
I also got to use my new camera for the first time and went a little picture crazy. I’m kinda in love with the new camera and I’m only starting to learn all that it can do!

And at the end of all this fun we got to take pumpkins home with us….1 big one, 1 Bauer sized one, and 6 miniature ones for my Bree-Bree!
